Merchant Bass

NYC bass luthier Bill Merchant relies on his over twenty years professional experience in the repair and restoration of acoustic bass violins to hand craft each Merchant Vertical Bass, the electric upright bass designed to sound & play like a double bass. There are also pictures of restoration work he has done.

Matt Pulcinella Guitars

MPG Basses are designed to balance at a proper angle when standing, be lightweight and be tough enough for the road. They can sound like an old P bass, a biting J bass or modern and edgy depending on the electronics and woods choosen. Every MPG bass features what I feel to be the best hardware as well as touches like extreme rolled fingerboard edges and frets that get smaller as you go up the neck. And last but not least, they are designed to look good. Each bass is built one at a time, completely by me in my Chadds Ford, PA shop. Each MPG bass comes with a free case.

Hofner
