Das Buch Bass for Beginners ist verständlich geschrieben. Man kann innerhalb kürzester Zeit Fortschritte verzeichnen, jedoch merkt man vor allem in der zweiten Hälfte des Buches, dass es mit lesen und ein wenig probieren nicht getan ist. Meiner Meinung nach sollte man schon in gewissem Sinne autodidaktisch veranlagt sein, da der Anspruch stetig steigt (so bleibt es wenigstens interessant) und man doch viel Zeit ins üben investieren muss.
